Welcome to 1 Alpha Service LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
We provide residential handyman work, home remodeling, and light commercial renovation and repair. Specific services, pricing, and timelines will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.
2. Estimates & Proposals
All estimates are provided based on the information available at the time. Final costs may vary if additional work, materials, or unforeseen conditions arise. Any changes will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
3. Scheduling & Access
Clients must provide reasonable access to the work area and ensure it is safe for our team. We reserve the right to reschedule or delay services due to unsafe conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required before work begins.
- Payment in full is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
- Late payments may be subject to fees as allowed by law.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Short-notice cancellations may incur a fee to cover lost time and materials.
6. Warranty & Quality
We stand behind our workmanship. If a defect caused by our labor is discovered within [30/90] days of completion, we will repair it at no additional cost. Warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external events
- Materials supplied by the client
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Obtaining any required permits or approvals (unless otherwise agreed).
- Keeping pets, children, and valuables clear of the work area.
- Informing us of any hazards (e.g., electrical, plumbing, structural).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1 Alpha Service LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Insurance
We carry general liability insurance to protect against accidental damage or injury. Clients should maintain their own property insurance for added protection.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement if the other breaches its obligations and fails to correct the issue within a reasonable time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the services are performed. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on request or at www.1-alphaservices.com.
